We’ve finished a major overhaul of the design of the site, hope everyone likes it. We have also made updating the site much easier, so I encourage Illini Nation to upload video’s from youtube for recruits (current players will be coming soon hopefully). Also, feel free to edit the schedules of the recruits filling in both the games and how many points were scored. We will do our best to keep them updated but mistakes happen and sometimes it can be hard to find how many points the recruits scored.

- Both teams come in off of a weekend victory. The Spartans topped 100 points in their thrashing of Indiana last Sunday, while the Illini survived a battle of attrition against Iowa last Saturday.
- For the Illini, beating a ranked team late in the season would give them confidence heading into the off-season.
- For Michigan State, a loss at Illinois would most likely drop them at least one line in the NCAA tourney. If the Spartans can win their final two Big Ten games (@ Illinois, @ Ohio State) and win the Big Ten Tournament, they would likely end up a 3 seed in the Big Dance, with a 2 seed not out of the realm of possibility. Their one non-conference loss was on a neutral court to UCLA. They beat Texas, and won at BYU, who is currently ranked 24th in the Coaches Poll.

According to Paul Klee, prized Center Tyler Griffey has committed to Bruce Weber and the Fighting Illini. Griffey will be joining an already amazing class of 2009, along with Bertrand, Richardson, and Paul. His site has scores from all his games this year as well as some video, click here to see it.
